Patuxent Nursery is a great place to work! Our staff has grown along with our sales over the past ten years. Starting out with five excited people, we now boast a year-round buying, merchandising, sales, accounting and production staff of 15, and during the busy spring season, our numbers will swell to about 70 full and part-time additions to our team.

We are always growing and expanding our business, and we are always looking for experienced industry professionals to add opportunities to our merchandising team.

On a seasonal basis, we begin our spring hiring in late February, and we have positions in many areas for temporary and full-time positions. We strive to offer flexible scheduling, and our 80 hours per week sales hours over seven days creates opportunities to fit almost any availability:

• Cashiers
• Customer Information
• Contractor Sales

Special consideration is given for experienced home gardeners, Master Gardener, and we are eager to employ mature part and full timers from the Baby Boom generation.
